About Liberty Collect
I'm Ryan, and Liberty Collect is my one-person card shop in Philadelphia.
I first got into cards as a kid, collecting with my dad. That led me down the road, years and years later, to this point.
I started Liberty Collect in June of 2026 because I love the hobby. I wanted to give people insights into the hobby, while also selling cards, and helping people collect what they love.
Most of my cards come from packs and boxes I open myself, not singles I buy to flip. Everything I pull goes up in my eBay store, Liberty Collect.
I know football, baseball, and basketball best. I'm still learning Pokemon and the other TCGs, and when I write about them I'll say so.
What I like most is the stuff under the hood: pop reports, grading, print runs, checklists, and odds. So that's what I write about here. Every number comes with where it's from and the date I checked it. When something is just my opinion, I'll call it that. My grading rule is one example: I only grade when I think the PSA 9 price will be at least 1.5 times the card cost plus the grading fee.
When a number changes, I fix it in the open and the article's updated-on date changes with it.
If you collect, I hope this helps you make better calls with your money. Come say hi on X at @liberty_collect.
